6. He thinks the sun come up just to hear him crow.

7. Harriet's got tongue enough for ten rows of teeth.
= [Harriet can talk.]

8. It's so dry the trees are bribin' the dogs.
= [We need a rain here ‘bouts.]

9. Just ‘cause a chicken got wings, don’t mean it can fly.
